What made this book useful is the journey it takes you on, inviting you to consider what each culture influencer really means. He delves into research and analysis of best practices, gives clear models of use in classrooms, asks you to consider the place in your life and teaching, and finally suggests action steps at the end of each chapter to bring this journey to life.This is definitely a book I will have to read more than once throughout my teaching to always move myself towards improvement. A must-read for teachers, parents and educators! Reading this book really changed the way I work as a teacher, and the way I deal with everything my kids do in their academic and personal life.
